# Genesis Traits

The Love Monsters come with six distinctive genesis traits, also known as elements: earth, water, fire, ice, toxic, and dark matter. The rarity of your Love Monster influences how many of these traits it possesses, ranging from one to four. Having a Love Monster with more traits allows you to learn skills linked to these element types. Moreover, they play a crucial role in aiding the search for particular resources on your land plots in The Monsterverse, such as monsters with the earth trait being more adept at earth-related tasks. Love Monsters of higher rarity, such as Legendary and Unique, are endowed with four genesis traits, whereas common ones are limited to just one.
