### Storyline Summary

In a world on the brink of energy crisis, two brilliant scientist brothers, Albert and Sam Love, embark on a groundbreaking journey to create a sustainable, free energy source using the mysterious Myacron shard. However, a mishap during an experiment leads to the unexpected creation of the first Love Monster, Patrick, a creature of immense power and heart. As the brothers' paths diverge over differing beliefs, Albert continues alone, driven by altruism and the pursuit of scientific discovery.

Albert's journey leads him to create another Love Monster, Purple, and together with Patrick, they discover a colossal Myacron shard, capable of transforming the world. With the creation of a new Love Rocket, they launch the shard into the stratosphere, scattering its fragments worldwide and giving birth to a diverse array of Love Monsters, each with unique abilities reflective of their elemental origins.

# Battle Mechanics

An explanation on how a battle works

### **Battle Actions**

In the game, battles are divided into two main phases: the player's turn and the opponent's turn. A player's Love Monster can potentially have multiple turns in a row based on their monster's action speed. Higher DNA Speed values increase the likelihood of acting more frequently.

During a Love Monster's turn, players have a few options:

* Target an opponent's monster to attack or use a skill.
* Target an allied monster (or the monster itself in 1v1 battles) to use a skill.
* Skip the turn.

### **Using Skills**

To utilize skills, Love Monsters must accumulate skill points, which are automatically charged at the start of their turn. The rate at which these points charge is influenced by the DNA Focus stat. If a Love Monster has enough points to use a skill, the player can consume these points to activate the skill.

As players increase the Power DNA of their Love Monsters, most skills will grow stronger. This means that defensive skills, such as protective shields, will become more resilient, while offensive skills, like fireballs, will inflict greater damage. Additionally, some skills can benefit from points distributed in Dexterity DNA. Investing in Dexterity enhances the likelihood of critical hits for these skills, resulting in amplified damage output.

### **Status Effects**

Certain skills bestow additional effects known as statuses, which persist for several turns and directly impact battle outcomes. These statuses can be positive or negative, and a Love Monster can be affected by multiple statuses simultaneously. Examples of statuses include:

* Damage over Time (DOT): Inflicts damage every turn.
* Protect: Reduces direct damage received from attacks or skills.
* Regeneration: Gradually restores the Love Monster's health each turn.


# DNA Stats

Complete control of your Love Monsters DNA statistics

## Overview

Each of the 9,999 Love Monsters features a unique set of DNA stats generated randomly, with each stat possessing varying levels of rarity. While the base DNA stats of the Love Monsters are permanent and cannot be changed, you have the opportunity to unlock additional DNA stats as you level up in the game. These additional stats are flexible and can be modified at any time. Progressing through the game allows you to accumulate extra DNA stat points.

The real charm of Love Monster is the liberty it offers you to distribute these acquired points as you see fit, empowering you to tailor your Love Monster's abilities to suit your strategic plans. Should you decide to reset your Love Monster's stats and start over, a DNA potion is available for just this purpose.

Therefore, it's crucial to think carefully about how you allocate your DNA stats. Whether you envision your Love Monster as a formidable tank protecting your allies or a Healer with the power to restore and heal your other monsters in battle, the choice is yours.

* **Power**: Enhances the effectiveness of skills, amplifying their effects or increasing their potency in battle.
* **Health**: Augments the total life pool of a Love Monster, enabling it to withstand more damage before succumbing to defeat.
* **Focus**: Accelerates the rate at which a Love Monster replenishes its skill points, allowing for more frequent use of skills during battles.
* **Speed**: Heightens the frequency at which a Love Monster can act in battle, granting it more opportunities to take actions and influence the course of combat.
* **Dexterity**: Elevates the likelihood of landing critical attacks and intensifies the damage inflicted by these critical hits, adding an element of unpredictability and devastating power to a Love Monster's offensive capabilities.

The rarity of your Love Monster influences how many of these traits it possesses, ranging from one to four. Having a Love Monster with more traits allows you to learn skills linked to these element types. Moreover, they play a crucial role in aiding the search for particular resources on your land plots in The Monsterverse, such as monsters with the earth trait being more adept at earth-related tasks. Love Monsters of higher rarity, such as Legendary and Unique, are endowed with four genesis traits, whereas common ones are limited to just one.

### **What are Skills?**&#x20;

Skill are the special attacks your Love Monsters uses inside the battle arena. Depending on your Love Monsters genesis will determine which skills you will be able to use.

Imagine skill fragments as special pieces to a magical puzzle. Each skill requires 5 identical fragments to create the skill. So for example, to craft a Fireball skill, you will need 5 x Fireball skill fragments.

Skill fragments can be obtained through various means in the game: by levelling up and unlocking crates, purchasing them in bundles, discovering them on farm lands, spinning the Wheel of Fortune, and exploring the Monsterverse.

# Progression

Player Progression inside of the Battle Arena.

In the game, players will harness the power of their Love Monsters to engage in battles against other players. Through these battles, players can earn XP (experience points), which contribute to their Love Monsters' progression.

As Love Monsters level up, they unlock new abilities known as skills and earn additional DNA points. These DNA points can be distributed by the player to customize their Love Monsters, allowing for the exploration of new strategies and tactics in battle.

Furthermore, as players progress through the levels, they will receive valuable rewards for their journey. These rewards serve to strengthen their Love Monsters and provide advantages in subsequent battles, ultimately aiding players in climbing the leaderboard and striving towards the top spot.\

# Ruthless Mode

As well as our Free to play game modes, you can play our ruthless mode and battle for loot. \
To begin with, we will launch some smaller loot bag tiers; each tier increases the amount of loot ($LMT) up for grabs. Battle it out in fun, strategic, 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 battles with other players worldwide. \
\
For example, player 1 and player 2 both enter a Ruthless Mode Battle and each player puts up 1,000 $LMT, the total prize would be 2,000 $LMT and after the match is over, the winner takes all of the loot!

### Ruthless Mode Flow

1. Choose battle mode: 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3.
2. Choose loot bag tier.
3. Match with other players.
4. Loot gets deposited to the in-game vault, ready for automatic payout.
5. Enter the battle arena.
6. Battle concludes.
7. Winner gets paid (zero in-game fees).
8. Option for a rematch or find a new battle.

As a tribe grows in popularity and membership, the cost to join increases, reflecting the tribe's enhanced value and prestige within the game world. This model not only fosters a sense of urgency and excitement around tribal membership but also lays down a financial foundation for the tribe's growth and the distribution of rewards.

### Tribe Formation and Membership Costs

1. **Creation Cost**: The founder of the tribe must pay a predetermined amount in tokens to create the tribe. This upfront cost is necessary to establish the tribe within the ecosystem.
2. **Early Membership**: Individuals who join the tribe shortly after its creation benefit from a cheaper entry to the tribe. This incentive aims to quickly build the tribe's initial community.
3. **Dynamic Membership Pricing**: As the tribe grows in size, the cost to join increases. This pricing strategy is designed to value early members and manage the tribe's expansion. It also generates additional revenue for the tribe.
4. **Membership Cap**: There is a limit to the number of members a tribe can have. Once a tribe reaches 50 members, the founder can upgrade the tribe to the next tier, allowing for the next wave of tribe members to join.

### Financial Model and Revenue Distribution

1. **Tribe Tickets**: To generate revenue and manage participation in events or special activities, the tribe may sell tickets. These tickets could be for exclusive events and tournaments, activities, or access to specific tribe resources.
2. **Revenue Split**: Revenue generated from various sources, including membership fees and ticket sales, is split according to a 70/30 ratio. 70 percent of the revenue is allocated to the tribe owners or founders, while the remaining 30 percent is used for tribe maintenance, events, or saved for future use. A certain amount of the tokens generated from tribe memberships will also be burned.&#x20;
3. **Tournament Winnings**: When the tribe participates in and wins tournaments, the rewards are distributed among all participating tribe members. This distribution encourages participation and fosters a sense of community and shared success.

### Governance and Rewards

* **Tribe Founder's Role**: The founder, having invested tokens to create the tribe, plays a significant role in its governance. They are responsible for setting up the tribe's rules, entering the tribe into tournaments and distribution of rewards.<br>

These appointed leaders will benefit from a slightly increased share of the tribe's earnings as a reward for their leadership and contribution. Additionally, they will receive an honorary badge to display, signifying their leadership role within the tribe for as long as they hold their position, underscoring their importance and dedication to the community.<br>
* **Reward System**: The reward system is designed to benefit all tribe members, especially in the context of tournaments. Winning tournaments not only enhances the tribe's reputation but also provides tangible rewards to its members.

Games in which the majority of players are motivated by **community** emphasize teamwork and collaboration, such as MMOs like Battlefield, Destiny, and Final Fantasy XIV. Games in which very few players are motivated by **community** emphasize solo and independent gameplay, where the gamer is always in full control.

### **Strategy**

> Gamers who score high for this motivation want long-term strategies they can plan out and execute. Games they enjoy playing integrate complex decision-making into the gameplay that require them to anticipate a number of potential contingencies. Popular high-strategy games from our survey are StarCraft II, Crusader Kings II, and Stellaris. The Monsterverse a diverse world ready to be explored.

## Terminology

### **Land Plot**

This is the area where players can build, evolve, decorate, and defend. A player can possess multiple land plots, each with its unique characteristics. There are several types of land plots, currently there have been six types of land plots discovered in The Monsterverse.

### **Player's Territory**

The territory represents a location on the world map, a set of coordinates that dictate where the player's lands are situated. Players are restricted to building within their designated territory.

### **Mainland**

The mainland is owned by the game itself and does not belong to any player. As such, it provides unique and specific services available to all players.

### **The Monsterverse**

The Monsterverse encompasses the entire unified Love Monsters universe, which includes both this game and Arena of Legends.

### Acquiring Land

Players have the opportunity to acquire several land plots, all of which are located within their territory. The position of a player's territory on the world map is determined randomly using a coordinate system. It is possible to view the territories of nearby players through their coordinates.

# PVE

Defend your Land Plot

### Defend Your Land

Occasionally, enemies known as Drifters will launch attacks on your territory. If they manage to overpower you and win, you'll either forfeit resources or witness a decline in your land's productivity. On the flip side, beating the Drifters comes with bonus rewards.

To keep such mishaps at bay, you'll need to train defense units ready to clash with these intruders. Building defense structures and mechanisms across your land can also bolster your overall defense, providing a solid boost against attacks.<br>

### Love Monsters

Love Monsters are special units that can be assigned to manage either work or defense tasks, providing general bonuses to all units. Your Love Monster may need to engage in battle to defend your land at any given time.

### Defenders

These are units trained to defend the territory fighting against the Drifters.


# Progression

Progression within The Monsterverse

In the game, players will embark on a journey of land building and resource management, constructing a variety of buildings to generate essential resources. These resources serve as the foundation for further development, allowing players to construct advanced buildings, unlock new structures, decorative elements, special abilities, and valuable items. All resources can be traded in-game or crafted into NFTs for on-chain trading.&#x20;

Players have the option to level up their buildings, thereby increasing resource generation, enhancing bonuses, or improving the services offered. As their land becomes more attractive, players have greater opportunities for successful trades and sales with other players. This creates the potential for players to establish economic empires, whether as resource-generating land plots with large exports or service hubs sought after by all players.

Amidst these economic features, players must also defend their territory from enemy attacks while exploring the vast world around them in search of adventure and treasure. Furthermore, our MonsterHub incorporates sophisticated burn mechanisms that are designed to maintain a balanced and healthy ecosystem. These mechanisms are integrated into certain upgrades and specific in-game uses, where spending $LMT will permanently remove a portion of the currency from circulation. This process helps regulate the supply of $LMT, preventing inflation and ensuring its value remains stable over time.&#x20;

Furthermore, $LMT is integral for a variety of in-game activities. It can be staked to generate Energy $NRG which is an in-game resource, vital for numerous functions within our ecosystem and across our games. This includes accelerating your Love Monsters' leveling process, replenishing their stamina, enabling various crafting blueprints, and other significant uses in The Monsterverse, such as reducing build times.

Additionally, $LMT is the currency for the Wheel of Love in Love Vegas. A spin costs 50 $LMT, offering the chance to win fantastic prizes or even the jackpot.

Staking or burning $LMT is the exclusive method for obtaining NRG, a critical resource in the core loop of our games, underscoring the token's substantial value.\

Once The Monsterverse is live, Players will be able to actively participate in the ecosystem by selling resources and other in-game items for $LMT within our Peer-to-Peer marketplace. This feature not only encourages player interaction but also enhances the overall utility and circulation of $LMT, making it a central element of our game's economy. \

Compete in burn races to earn airdrops, rewards and unique NFTs via giveaways.

### Burn Mechanics:

In our ecosystem, whenever a user exchanges $LMT for $NRG, the entire amount of $LMT involved in the transaction is irrevocably burned. This mechanism directly contributes to reducing the circulating supply of $LMT, further ensuring its scarcity and value.

We are also excited to introduce Burn Tournaments, a novel feature designed to incentivize players to actively participate in the ecosystem by burning $LMT. Participants can burn their tokens to unlock access to prize pools, receive airdrops, and claim exclusive NFTs. This not only enhances player engagement but also serves as an effective method for managing the token's supply.

When a user spends 50 $LMT to spin the Wheel of Love, 10 of that $LMT is allocated to the jackpot, enriching the potential rewards for all participants. The remaining 40 $LMT is transferred to the Love Monster treasury. We plan to burn a substantial portion of the treasury's incoming proceeds each day, further contributing to the deflationary pressure on the $LMT supply and enhancing the overall value of the token within our ecosystem.

### What is Energy - $NRG?

In the "Love Monster" ecosystem, Energy also known as NRG an off-chain non-transferable resource emerges as an integral in-game reward currency, playing a vital role in the game's economy and player progression.

### **Purpose:**&#x20;

Love Monsters, like us, require energy to thrive, and this is where the $NRG token becomes indispensable. Players can acquire $NRG by staking $LMT tokens off-chain or through an exchange of $LMT for $NRG at a fixed rate within our MonsterHub. Unlike typical in-game currencies, $NRG tokens carry intrinsic value within our game's ecosystem. However, they are non-transferable and are exclusively used within our in-game world.

### Chapter 1: The Great Discovery

Albert and Sam Love, both known for their exceptional scientific prowess, embarked on their most ambitious endeavor yet: to develop a free energy source. They envisioned this innovation as a revolutionary leap forward, promising to illuminate the future with boundless, costless energy, a gift to society worldwide.

However, their groundbreaking experiment veered into the realm of danger due to an unforeseen incident. Sam, in a moment of lapse, spilled his hot coffee onto the critical Myacron reactor. The accidental spill caused the reactor to overheat rapidly. In a frantic response, Sam made his escape aboard the aptly named 'love rocket', prioritizing his safety. Meanwhile, Albert, driven by a boundless commitment to their cause, chose to stay behind. His aim: to avert disaster and salvage their work against the odds.

At the heart of their venture lies a fundamental difference in perspective between the two brothers. Albert, motivated by altruism, sought to gift the world with free energy, believing in the transformative power of their innovation. On the other hand, Sam harbored a contrasting view. He believed that their years of dedication and the breakthrough they achieved warranted significant personal compensation.

The Love brothers, united by their brilliance and a shared dream of bettering the world, find themselves at a crossroads, divided by their views on the value and purpose of their work. Their tale underscores the complex interplay between innovation, personal convictions, and the pursuit of the greater good.

After realising it was a lost cause he needed to quickly escape the danger zone. He knew that the explosion was imminent. With no time to waste, Albert made his way to the underground nuclear bunker, where he could take shelter and protect himself from the harmful radiation.&#x20;

With seconds to spare Albert closed the door behind him as the reactor exploded, releasing a massive amount of energy that devastated the laboratory and the surrounding buildings.

In the aftermath of the explosion, Albert emerged from the hatch to assess the damage. During a routine investigation of the site he stumbled upon a remarkable discovery - a super-charged Myacron shard which had been created as a result of the blast.

The Myacron shard was a truly remarkable and unique substance that Albert had never encountered before. It was imbued with an extraordinary power that left him awestruck. Fueled by his curiosity, Albert started to delve deeper into the properties of this new substance.

It wasn't long before he realised that the Myacron shard was not only incredibly powerful, but it also held the key to unlocking a new form of life. This was a defining moment for Albert, as he had made an incredible discovery that would change the world forever.<br>

After months of research and experimentation, Albert was finally ready to test his new formula. He had poured all his knowledge, experience, and passion into this project, and he was eager to see the results. In the underground bunker, he suspended the super-charged Myacron shard in a tank filled with his carefully crafted formula and prepared for the experiment.

The moment of truth arrived, and with a burst of energy and light, the first Love Monster was born. Albert was amazed by the sight before him - a unique creature, with an irresistible blend of cuteness and ferocity, and a heart of gold. Overcome with emotion, Albert named this new creature "Patrick", in honour of his late Father.

Patrick was unlike anything the world had ever seen before. He was the first of his kind, and he would set the precedent for the creation of all other Love Monsters. Albert was overjoyed by the results of his experiment, and he knew that Patrick would bring love, joy, and adventure to the world. From that day forward, Patrick would become known as the originator of a new species of creatures, the Love Monsters.

Albert was overjoyed with the creation of Patrick and was eager to continue his work in creating more Love Monsters. He took the lessons learned from the first experiment and applied them to his next creation. With his vast knowledge and experience, he was able to create a second Love Monster, which he named "Purple". This new creature stood out with its incredible skin tone, a beautiful shade of purple that shimmered in the light. Albert was so proud of his creation, and he knew that Purple, like Patrick, would also bring love to the world.

The two Love Monsters would soon become inseparable companions, travelling the world and spreading their unique brand of love and positivity wherever they went.

On a journey to aid in rebuilding the city, Albert, Patrick and Purple stumbled upon a colossal and highly charged Myacron shard that would be the start of something truly revolutionary. \
\
With a mission to bring love and joy to every corner of the world, Albert and his two inseparable Love Monsters, Patrick and Purple, set their sights on the massive myacron shard they had discovered. They embarked on a mission to harness the power of the shard and unleash its potential for good.

In a true display of their scientific prowess, the trio crafted a plan to use the myacron shard to their advantage. They worked tirelessly to design and construct a new and improved Love rocket, equipped with a crystal chamber capable of containing the immense power of the shard. With great care and precision, they fastened the shard into place and performed a final check before the launch.

As they watched the countdown, the three of them could feel the excitement and anticipation building. The world was about to be changed forever and the moment of truth was finally here, and with a roar of engines and a flash of light, the Love rocket took flight, launching into the stratosphere with the massive myacron shard in tow.\

The giant Myacron shard was launched into the stratosphere, exploding into a barrage of glittering crystals all across the world. Each one represented a unique Love Monster, forged by the elements of the world.\
\
Swamps birthed toxic Love Monsters, volcanoes brought forth fire-breathing beasts, lakes and seas created water wonders, snowy mountain tops gave rise to ice monsters, crystals which buried deep into the earth's core created strong resilient earth monsters, and the darkest, most mysterious corners of the world gave birth to the elusive dark matter Love Monsters.\

Every creation begins with a spark of an idea. For us, that spark ignited a months-long journey to envision the perfect representation of what we envisioned as a Love Monster. Throughout this process, we explored hundreds of variations, each sketch and concept bringing us closer to the final design. Love Monster is a collection of digital artworks (NFTs) running on the blockchain. By purchasing, accessing, or engaging with our platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for managing the security of your private wallet(s) and validating all transactions, including NFT purchases, token transfers, or any other related activity performed on this platform or external platforms. Any transactions conducted via the platform or other third-party platforms are at your own risk.

Please note that P360 Media Ltd, the original company responsible for the creation and initial sale of the Love Monster NFTs, has been dissolved. Maverick Metalabs Ltd, as the new entity, is now responsible for all ongoing operations, including game development and the overall Love Monster ecosystem. Any references to P360 Media Ltd in this document pertain solely to its past activities and obligations. Maverick Metalabs Ltd **assumes no liability** for any actions, sales, transactions, or obligations associated with P360 Media Ltd, including but not limited to prior NFT sales, purchases, or any other activities undertaken by P360 Media Ltd. Maverick Metalabs Ltd is solely responsible for future operations, obligations, and activities related to the Love Monster project.

When you purchase a Love Monster NFT, you acquire ownership of the NFT itself, which represents the digital artwork associated with the NFT. However, it is important to note that **ownership of the NFT does not transfer any intellectual property rights or ownership of the underlying artwork or any related creations**. The intellectual property rights to all Love Monster art, characters, images, designs, and related assets are owned by **Maverick Metalabs Ltd**, who retains full copyright and other intellectual property rights. As the creator and owner of these assets, Maverick Metalabs Ltd may display, promote, or use the artwork for any purpose, including for marketing and advertising, without seeking permission from or compensating the purchaser.

For clarification:

* **P360 Media Ltd** was responsible for the initial sale and distribution of Love Monster NFTs.
* **Maverick Metalabs Ltd** is responsible for the development of the game, NFTs, and other related assets moving forward. The transition from P360 Media Ltd to Maverick Metalabs Ltd does not affect your ownership rights to any NFT purchased during P360 Media Ltd's operation, nor does it affect the intellectual property rights retained by Maverick Metalabs Ltd.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, **Maverick Metalabs Ltd** grants you a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, and display the Love Monster NFT artwork you have purchased, under the following terms:

1. **Personal, Non-Commercial Use**: You may use the artwork solely for your own personal enjoyment or display purposes, and not for any commercial purposes unless expressly allowed.
2. **NFT Marketplaces**: You may include the purchased artwork in NFT marketplaces that facilitate the purchase and sale of Love Monster NFTs, provided that the marketplace verifies the ownership of the NFT and restricts the display of the artwork to the actual owner.
3. **Third-Party Websites/Applications**: You may include the purchased artwork on third-party websites or applications, provided the platform verifies ownership and restricts the display once the owner exits the platform. The artwork should not be publicly visible once the owner ceases to participate in that platform.

However, any use of the Love Monster artwork for **monetization** (such as merchandise sales, TV rights, or sponsorships) is **limited to a maximum of $100,000 USD** in gross annual revenue. If you wish to use the artwork in a way that would generate revenue above this threshold, you must obtain prior written authorization from **Maverick Metalabs Ltd**.
